All scissors and shears are sharpened by the same process used at the factory. They are disassembled, cleaned, and blown off. Then sharpened on a flat hone and until the entire cutting surface has a new cutting edge. Before reassembly, each blade is honed and polished. Each scissor and shear is tested with wet perm paper, a single ply tissue and additionally on human hair prior to shipping.
